Back around 1990, I was laid up, recovering from surgery, for 6 weeks. I was thinking of working on something for a new portfolio, in order to get some more-serious romance-cover work. I really wanted to do something just for myself, though, so I compromised. It ended up a good addition to my romance portfolio, which eventually led to lots of work.

I'm sorry that an on-line reproduction just can't duplicate the subtleties of an oil painting, but I hope you enjoy it.

I hand-retouched a set of the original convention posters made from this painting, and some are left. Please contact me if interested.
